Walking Group Buddy Volunteer

Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s)

In order to live well with dementia people need companionship, enjoyment, understanding and a listening ear, whilst being a volunteer can be immensely rewarding. Dementia Oxfordshire is recruiting volunteers to become Walking Group Buddies.

Walking Buddies, will attend a monthly walking group in beautiful surroundings across Oxfordshire and ‘buddy up’ with people living with dementia and their carers to make them feel welcome and keep the conversation going through friendly chats.
