Family fundraiser day for Bank Holiday weekend!

Family fundraiser day for Bank Holiday weekend!

2 minute read

For the third year running, the Jay Lapper Memorial Trust will be fundraising for Dementia Oxfordshire at their annual Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th August.

Football, food and much, much more!

The fun starts at around 10.30, when the Bicester Vintage Tractor Club members set off in convoy.

The barbecue and live music get underway at 1pm, followed by the return of the vintage tractors and then kick-off for the main football match at 2pm with a fly-by overhead (weather permitting).

Trophies will be awarded by ex-Chelsea and Oxford United player Peter Rhoades-Brown at 4pm, followed by the raffle being drawn at 4.30pm – with lots of fantastic prizes to be won!

Charlie Ross (of TV fame) will be wielding his auctioneer’s hammer at 5.30pm, inviting bids for a whole range of lots including a helicopter ride and some fascinating sports memorabilia.

The day finishes off with more food and live music into the evening.

Where and when?

Jay’s Memorial Day family fundraiser takes place on Sunday 30th August 2026 at the Launton Sports and Social Club, Bicester Road, Launton, Bicester OX26 5DP
