Prepare for Winter with a Free Electric Blanket Safety Check

Prepare for Winter with a Free Electric Blanket Safety Check

Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s)

Oxfordshire County Council’s trading standards team are offering free electric blanket safety checks in September and October to Oxfordshire residents.

They want to make sure that electric blankets are safe to use this winter to avoid risk of injury and fire. Safety check events are held across the county and must be pre-booked. Refreshments will also be available for those attending.

If you are unable to travel, arrangements can be made to collect electric blankets from residents’ homes between 3 – 7 October.

For more information on the safety checks, including how to book, see the poster below or click here to be taken to the Oxfordshire County Council website.
