Fundraising Head Shave at Ruby Anniversary Fete

2 minute read

Deputy Manager at Millers Grange Care Home in Witney, Rachel Scurr, will be shaving her head to help raise money for Dementia Oxfordshire.

Rachel said “I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of those living with dementia and to improve awareness and support for families. Dementia Oxfordshire support families from diagnosis and provide valuable resources needed to keep living well with dementia. I would be delighted if you could donate and you are welcome to see me brave the shave at Millers Grange care home.”

Rachel will be shaving her head during the Millers Grange ruby anniversary fete on the 27th September, to which all are welcome to attend. The fete, celebrating 40 years of care, will include various stalls, a tombola and a raffle and entertainment to enjoy. For more information about the fete, see the poster below.

A massive thank you goes to Rachel and the Millers Grange team for putting on this event and all of the money you have raised so far! You can donate to Rachel’s fundraiser, here.
