Open Doors 2022 – Unmissable Heritage and Culture in Oxford

Open Doors 2022 – Unmissable Heritage and Culture in Oxford

Estimated reading time: 2 minute(s)

Oxford Open Doors, ran by Oxford Preservation Trust, is back from Saturday 10th – Sunday 11th September to celebrate heritage and culture across the city.

Oxford Open Doors is an annual weekend where places that are usually closed to the public and are open for free. There is so much on offer and is a great opportunity to see something new.

Dementia Oxfordshire is delighted to be supporting this event for a second year at Oxford’s Old County Hall. We will be there from 11am to 4pm to answer questions about dementia and how to live well after a diagnosis.

We will be serving a lovely selection of cakes and drinks at very reasonable prices and selling pre-loved jewellery, with all proceeds going to support the work of Dementia Oxfordshire.

Come and chat to our friendly team and enjoy some refreshments before taking a tour of the Court Rooms, Council Chamber, holding cells and its tunnel to Oxford Prison.

You can find out more about all the events happening during Open Doors 2022, including the Old County Hall tour, here.
