New Cost Of Living Initiative, provided by Oxfordshire County Council

2 minute read

If you or someone you know has recently received a letter from the Oxfordshire County Council regarding financial support for local residents, it is a viable initiative scheme set up by the Council as a way to support residents who may have missed out on the national cost of living and energy support schemes due to personal circumstances.

“We know that this winter is a challenging time for many of our residents. We hope this will be a meaningful scheme that will offer some help to residents.”

– Oxfordshire County Council

An expected initial payment of 300£ is planned, with a possibility of further payments in future. If you believe that you or someone you know is viable for the scheme, there are two ways to claim the support:

      • visit the website URL listed on the letter and enter your bank details on the secure online form

      • call the Customer Services team on 01865 956511

In addition, the Council’s 44 libraries will be able to assist residents with the application process. Please be assured that the Council has made safeguarding and anti-fraud arrangements.

Should you have any questions about the scheme or are unable to complete the form, please contact the dedicated Council Customer Services team at 01865 956511. If you have any questions about further support you might be viable for, please the Oxfordshire County Council website:
