Have a Love for Reading and Books? Join a TeaBooks Group Today

Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s)

TeaBooks is an Oxfordshire-wide project, by Age UK Oxfordshire, organising social book groups for the over-60s. The groups help older people to share a love of books and reading while making new friends. Each group is run by a volunteer group leader, who liaises with the local library to borrow the books, so there is no need for group members to buy them. The groups meet once a month, and there is a nominal charge of £1 per meeting.

There are 15 groups across Oxfordshire. Please see the image below for details on the groups looking for new members and volunteers.
