The difference we make
With more and more people being diagnosed with dementia, our work has never been more important.
We now support over 6000 people across Oxfordshire, but how do we know that we are making a difference to the lives of those living with dementia and their carers?
Our latest impact report draws on a number of sources, including survey responses from those living with dementia and their carers. In addition, we analysed spontaneous emails sent in with comments on our service. This analysis has helped us to work out what people value most about the support we provide.
We asked other professionals – those working in memory clinics, GP surgeries and out in the community – to tell us what they valued about the service provided by Dementia Oxfordshire.
To bring to life the breadth and depth of our work we asked the people we support to tell us their stories.
You can read the results of our research in our 2024 Impact Report.
Impact Report 2024
We have produced two versions of the report: our full colour report with headline figures and feedback from those we support, plus an extended, in- depth report, with case studies and copies of our surveys and email analysis.
