Pip joined the Dementia Oxfordshire team in October 2018 having previously worked for Carers Oxfordshire. Pip is able to build a rapport with people very quickly and brings a highly person centred approach to the role
Pip is highly active in her community. As well as her role as Dementia Adviser, she also runs one of our longest standing groups, the Bicester Memory Cafe and previously ran the Bicester good Neighbour Scheme for five years.
Pip has an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and an NVQ3 in Dementia. However, it is the recognition for her work in the community that she is proudest of. She received a Dignity in Care award in 2017 and also won an award for the Best Good Neighbour Scheme in Oxfordshire.
Pip says “I love to work closely with my community and provide good support and a much needed ear.”
