Emily joined Dementia Oxfordshire in 2022, having previously worked as a Team Leader and Dementia Lead in a residential care home.
As well as her role as a Dementia Adviser, Emily is also part of our Education Team, delivering information sessions at different venues around the county and online. You can find out more about our information sessions here.
She says “Being part of the Education Team and seeing the positive effect our work has on people is very rewarding. It’s great providing information and resources that they didn’t know about before – and seeing the impact that has.”
She also runs our Active Minds group, which organises a wide variety of outings around Oxfordshire for people living with dementia and their guests.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys playing netball and keeping fit – but also enjoys relaxing on the sofa with a great TV series!
Normal working week: Tuesday (all day), Wednesday (morning), Thursday (morning), Friday (morning)
