Amanda joined the Dementia Oxfordshire team in September 2025. She previously worked for South Hams Community Action managing a team of Social Prescribing Link Workers and supporting local charitable and social groups with events, support, and governance. Prior to this, she was a Social Prescribing Link Worker and a Mental Health Nurse.
“What attracted me to the role was supporting people again, which is something I have enjoyed for a long time, which is also flexible to allow me to care for my dad. It was also working for an organisation which I know passionately cares for others, and which is intuitive, acts on initiative and is forward thinking.”
Outside of work, she is passionate about nature and loves to write.
Normal working week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
