Kerry joined Dementia Oxfordshire in November 2021. She has a passion for enabling people living with dementia to live as meaningful and as full a life as possible.
“Becoming a Dementia Adviser feels like an honour, to be with the person with the diagnosis from the start of their journey, offering help and support, to the end.”
Previously Kerry worked as a domiciliary carer in the community. After a career break to raise her family, she returned to work as an Activity Coordinator and Carer at a residential home with a dementia unit. She has a Level 3 Award in the Awareness of Dementia and enjoys continually learning more about dementia to best support her clients.
