DESCRIPTION:Our sharing sessions bring people living with dementia together\, to learn\, talk openly and make new connections. \nWhat to expect: \n\n\n\n\n\nWe understand that being given a diagnosis of dementia can be difficult to come to terms with and it’s easy to feel alone. \n\n\n\nOur sharing sessions give people living with dementia the opportunity to meet others sharing the same journey\, to learn positively about dementia and to swap practical tips and advice about living well and retaining independence. \n\n\n\nThe sessions take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month\, from 1pm – 2pm. \n\n\n\nTo join the session\, contact us by email: education@dementiaoxfordshire.org.uk \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Do you care for someone with a dementia diagnosis? Would you like a better understanding of dementia? \nJoin us to find out more about dementia\, explore strategies for caring someone with dementia and find out what support is available. \nThis two-hour ONLINE session will cover three main topics: \n\nWhat is dementia?\nUnderstanding dementia – exploring topics in our ‘Understanding dementia’ booklet\nServices\, support and benefits\n\nThere will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. \nThe session will be held via Teams which anyone with an internet connection can use.
