SUMMARY:Understanding dementia for informal carers – Oxford
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to have a better understanding of dementia? Then come along to our education session for informal carers. It’s a two-hour\, in-person session where you get to meet our team and ask the questions you want to know. \nThe session will cover three main topics: \n\nWhat is dementia?\nUnderstanding dementia – exploring topics in our ‘Understanding dementia’ booklet\nServices\, support\, and benefits.\n\nThere will be a separate space\, with activities\, for people living with dementia. \nYou must register to attend these sessions. To do so\, please book here or email education@dementiaoxfordshire.org.uk \nWe try to cover as much of the county as possible by offering these sessions in a different location each time. However\, if you’re struggling to make it\, please consider our online education session\, which we run every three months.
