Lydia joined Dementia Oxfordshire in October 2021 to manage and develop the service’s marketing and communications including the website, social media channels, and the newsletter.
“My goal is to make our online communications as informative and engaging as possible so people can easily access the resources they need, as they need them”.
Lydia studied at the University of Oxford, completing an MSc in Comparative Social Policy and she also has a BA in Policy, Politics and Economics. During her studies, her research focussed on care within the family and how government policy influences this. She has also supported a start-up social enterprise’s marketing team as a volunteer since 2018.
