Liz has worked for Young Dementia Oxfordshire since March 2018, initially in a support worker role and then as a young onset dementia advisor, having previously worked for the Alzheimer’s Society as dementia support manager in Birmingham and Solihull.
Liz’s role within Young Dementia Oxfordshire is to provide information, advice, signposting and emotional support for people with young onset dementia and their families. Part of Liz’s role is to facilitate groups, courses and information days for people newly diagnosed and living with young onset dementia.
