SUMMARY:Chinnor Forget Me Knot Cafe
DESCRIPTION:The Chinnor Forget Me Knot Cafe is a friendly morning space that provides information\, peer support and fun activities which are aimed to help with coordination\, brain stimulation\, and general health and wellbeing\, for people living with dementia\, mental health issues\, illness\, old age or isolation. All are welcome – come along with your carer. The Forget Me Knot cafe asks for a donation of £2.50 to help with the costs. \nA Dementia Oxfordshire Adviser will be available to chat and answer any questions. \nYou will be welcomed with a cup of tea and a biscuit. The sessions start with a good chat\, followed by a visiting expert. At the end of the session\, they play parachute games\, juggling\, throwing balls\, flat football\, and floor netball. \nThe cafe meets twice monthly\, from 10:30 –12:30pm with the option to stay and enjoy lunch until 1:30pm at Chinnor Village Centre. \nPlease note\, the cafe will not run on Monday 26th May or Monday 19th August. \nFor more information\, please contact daycare@chinnorvillagecentre.org.
