Brief info

Deborah has worked for YoungDementia UK since November 2013, initially in a support worker role and then as a young onset dementia advisor, having previously worked in the NHS as a psychiatric nurse and then in the community supporting people with a dementia diagnosis.

Deborah’s role within YoungDementia UK is to provide information, advice, signposting and emotional support for people with young onset dementia and their families.

Part of Deborah’s role requires her to works closely with consultants at the John Radcliffe Hospital so she is able to offer individualised support from diagnosis onwards and to ensure that families do not feel alone.

Normal working week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
